GRSA is proud to host the Flying Scot Women's North American Championship, May 29–31, 2026. This event runs on the energy of an incredible volunteer crew — and we need you on the team.
We have two sign-ups organized by role type. Pick the one that fits how you want to help — or sign up for both!
Every role includes a time block and description so you know exactly what you're signing up to do. Roles range from a single 2-hour shift to full-weekend commitments.
Come to the Volunteer Dinner on May 17 to meet your captain, go over your role, and help assemble competitor welcome packets. Details above.
When you arrive for your shift, check in at the volunteer table. Your Volunteer Captain will direct you to exactly where you need to be.
Each area of the event is led by a Volunteer Captain who manages their crew, handles questions, and keeps things running smoothly — so you always know exactly who to go to, and event leadership isn't fielding 40 calls at once.
Trailer launch and recovery, dock flow, launch line management, rigging area support, and boat systems troubleshooting.
Registration, spectator boat coordination, RC communications relay, notice board, wayfinding, parking flow, and general shore logistics.
Welcome dinner, Saturday social hour and catered BBQ dinner, band coordination, Sunday awards lunch, and all cleanup crews.
Drink stations, dock cooler, ice and supply runs, trash and recycling, and restroom checks throughout the weekend.
Volunteer check-in, no-show coverage, floater direction, and volunteer welfare — making sure every shift is covered and every volunteer is taken care of.
Decor, signage, welcome packets, awards table, photographer and social media coordination — making GRSA look like the national championship host it is.
