The Walt Schwanhausser Youth
Sailing Award honors one of the true gentlemen in the sport of
sailing, who was instrumental in the formation of what has become GRSA
Sail Camp. His legacy is many, now grown, kids who have come to love
sailing as did he.
The award is presented annually to a
young sailor who has exhibited his or her commitment to the sport of
sailing by participation in as many events as possible, and by their
overall Corinthian spirit.
