GRSA Invitational Regatta

May 31st and June 1st, 2008

You are cordially invited to join the Greater Richmond Sailing Association for a weekend of one-design racing and socializing on Swift Creek Reservoir. The regatta will include a planned five races; Due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a greater or fewer number of races may be held. With six or more races there will be one throw out allowed.

Anticipated Classes: Day Sailer, Flying Scot, Laser, Thistle, and any class with at least 5 entries.

Saturday, May 31	7:00 am	Gates open at GRSA
	9:30 am	Registration Open
	11:00 am	Skippers Meeting
	12:00 noon	Warning signal for first race - additional races to follow per race committee
	5:30 pm	Social
	6:00 pm	Dinner
Sunday, June 1	7:00 am	Gates open at GRSA
	10:00 am	Warning signal for first race - additional races to follow per race committee
	2:00 pm	Social and presentation of trophies

Trophies: Three places will be awarded for both skipper and crew of each class.

Rules: Governed by the RRS 2005 U.S. Sailing Association, Individual Class Rules, and the Racing Instructions of the Greater Richmond Sailing Association.

Fees: $30 per boat includes racing, dinner, and socials for skipper and crew. Additional Dinner/Socials are available at $7 ea. Fees can be paid at time of registration Saturday morning.
