GRSA SITE RULES

  1. MEMBERSHIP CARDS will be carried at all times while on site.

  2. BOAT STICKERS will be displayed on the port bow of members boats not later than May 1st of the current year. No boats will launch without stickers, except for non-members who have registered for races and then only for those races.

  3. BOAT PARKING: Parking for member owned boats is permitted on a space available basis provided the boat displays a current year GRSA registration sticker. Assignment of parking spaces, and organization of parking is controlled through the Facilities Chairman. New or existing members desiring a parking or storage space for their boat must contact the Facilities Chairman for placement.

  1. Once a space is assigned, temporary removal of the boat is permitted provided that the space is marked with the member's name.

  2. All boats will be stored on trailers, or on the club racks. In the water or shoreline storage is prohibited, except that overnight anchorage is permitted if the boat is sailed on consecutive days. It is the member's responsibility to insure the boat is properly secured to prevent damage to club docks and other surrounding boats.

  3. Boats remaining in the water or on shore shall be secured at least 50 feet from the launching ramps. The Facilities Chairman, at his discretion, may move improperly stickered or parked boats to an impound area until such time as the boats are properly stickered, claimed, or removed from the site.

  4. Members are responsible for maintaining their boats and the area around the boat. Securing the boat to the trailer or rack is recommended to minimize potential damage during high wind periods.

  5. Storage of boats not suitable for use on Swift Creek Reservoir is not permitted at the site.

  1. SECURITY is everyone's responsibility. The gate should be closed and locked at all times, except in the event of a GRSA scheduled activity or on weekends or holidays when numerous members are using the site. The last person to leave the site shall be responsible for locking the gate. Never leave the site without locking the gate unless you are certain another member is on the grounds. When in doubt -- LOCK THE GATE.

  2. GUESTS are welcome when accompanied by a member, however, guests are NOT permitted to launch their boats unless participating in a GRSA invitational or open regatta.

  3. EXCESSIVE PROFANITY or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated at the club, and may be grounds for revocation of membership.

  4. RIGGING in the launch areas or drives is forbidden. Rig your boat in a parking space, launch smartly, and return your car and trailer to an approved parking area.

  5. DOGS and other pets are not allowed on the site.

  6. CLEAN UP your own trash and that of your children.
