Keeping the club grounds neat and orderly is every members
responsibility. Please take some time and cut the grass
around your boat, and while you are at it, cut some along
the drives or other nearby boats as well. There are a couple
of new lawn mowers that are coming into service and we need
you to treat them as if they were your own.
Pitch in for our Fall Work Day Oct. 4
An important part of your membership is helping to keep
the property clean, repaired and safe for all, so grab your
work gloves, a couple of Red Bulls and join us at 9:00 a.m.
on Saturday, October 4. The more hands we have, the faster
it will go. Facilities Chairman John Swenson has a list of
chores waiting for volunteers.
Erosion at the Genito dock needs to be dealt with, the
equipment shed needs a coat of stain, there's log-splitting
to be done, and plenty of general clean up and mowing. If
you have portable power tools, leaf and garden rakes,
shovels or what have you, bring 'em along.
Thanks to all who have come out to help
for past work days!
Some boats in the yard are starting
to take on an appearance of abandonment. Please come out and
drain the water that is collecting and creating a breeding
ground for mosquitoes and clear out the growth under your
trailer. Also, make sure there is air in the tires should
there be a need to move your boat around the yard.
Thanks again for all of the help!!
